Derek Chiang is the founder and CEO of ZeroDev, a provider of embeddable & programmable smart (AA) wallets. Derek contributed to the spec and reference implementation of ERC-4337, and ZeroDev built the first modular AA wallet known as "Kernel" which is currently the most widely deployed AA wallet.
Prior to ZeroDev, Derek was an L1 engineer at DFINITY and the CTO of Eternal, an NFT platform for content creators. Before entering crypto, Derek built large-scale distributed systems as an early hire at successful B2B startups including HashiCorp and Pachyderm. Derek studied computer science at Cornell.
