Palm Beach: Yachts, Bar Crawls, Street Parties

You deserve an experience that represents our industry’s values: open, community-focused, and heavy on the degen. Permissionless will takeover Palm Beach, closing down streets for bar crawls and sourcing the whole thing with local creators and vendors. This is a space for you to embrace possibility — want to hang out at a yacht party? We’ve got you. Connect with builders and go heads down for days? LFG. Hit the beach with jet skis? Done.

NFT Gallery and Metaverse Experiences

At its core, Permissionless is a cultural event. Artists and creators will be at the forefront, showcasing their creations at an in-site gallery. You’ve never seen so many priceless jpegs in one place. Permissionless may even have its own NFT related surprise in the works – stay tuned. Want to showcase your art in our gallery? Apply here.

The Biggest Names Create the Future on Stage

This space is exploding with visionaries. At Permissionless, you’ll hear from all of them... The most forward-thinking names in our industry will speak on topics ranging from the metaverse, to NFTs and gaming, the future of finance and institutional adoption, and more. We’ve organized the conference into three separate tracks to serve our diverse mix of builders, developers, artists, gamers and investors.

Outside the Content

Permissionless is the playground you never knew your adult self needed. Our industry’s leading companies and DAOs will fill the conference with everything your degen heart desires: yacht parties, lounges, live demos, gaming areas, you name it. Most importantly, we’ll have food vendors, adult beverages, and all kinds of refreshments. Because let’s be honest, talking to people is hard.

General

What is Permissionless?

With more than 5,000 people attending, Permissionless will be the largest Metaverse and DeFi event in history, designed to celebrate the new era we’re entering into. Citizens of the Metaverse will gather to shape the future of our culture (and to party).

Why are we hosting Permissionless?

The Metaverse and DeFi are reshaping the global economy. Today they’re a $100 billion market. Tomorrow they will touch every aspect of our culture. The builders deserve a conference to match.

Who attends Permissionless?

Everyone who wants to take part in ushering in the Metaverse. Developers, investors, creators, gamers and more. Permissionless is an event to connect the builders of the future.

What else is there to do before, during, or after Permissionless?

Some conferences are all talk. Not Permissionless.

Yes, we know that these talks led by industry visionaries are where the magic happens, that groundbreaking, worldshaking, pioneering kind of magic, where new ideas evolve in discussion.

But in the metaverse, you’re a part of that magic, too.

Permissionless was created to celebrate this decentralized cultural ethos, and to celebrate it (and you) with everything we’ve got.

We’re hosting a massive onsite NFT gallery, with art from some of the best digital creators out there.

The show floor will be packed with brand new tech to try, exciting games to play, and all kinds of experiences hosted by the biggest projects in the industry.

If you want to chill, you can take a break in any of the lounges, step out into the sunny Florida weather for a drink and some food, let loose at yacht parties, and more.

The only problem you’ll have is not having enough time to do it all.

How do I sponsor Permissionless?

There are six levels of sponsorship packages, each including more opportunities to reach attendees than the previous. Once you’ve decided on a package, you can add a number of creative enhancements to your package, like branded merchandise, seat drops, and even services like a food truck, a barista near your booth, or a branded event kickoff party. We’d love to hear your goals and work out the perfect package for you, so get in touch! Submit your sponsorship goals to [email protected] to get started.

How do I submit a speaker?

Click here to submit a speaker. If our event content team is interested in your submission they’ll be in touch. Unfortunately we are unable to follow up directly with every submission.

Travel & Accomodation

Where should I stay?

Permissionless will take place at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, located at 650 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL, 33401. Blockworks has partnered with local hotels to provide Permissionless guests preferred hotel rates. You can review room block options and book here, rates may increase as we get closer to May and are subject to availability. For housing questions please contact [email protected].

When should I plan to arrive?

Monday, May 16th will allow a comfortable buffer to get settled into your hotel and explore the area a bit before the event starts around 8 AM Tuesday, May 17th.

Where should I fly into?

Palm Beach International (PBI) is the closest airport to the venue, though Miami (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) would also work, provided you can arrange longer distance transportation.

What are the health and safety protocols for each venue?

The Palm Beach County Convention Center details its COVID protocols here. Masks are currently required indoors, however we expect these details to change as we get closer to Permissionless. Blockworks will clearly communicate any requirements as we get closer to the event.

What is required to travel to Florida? Are there quarantine and/or vaccination policies?

There are currently no travel restrictions or requirements for traveling to Florida. If you are flying in from outside the US, federal law mandates that all passengers above the age of 2 have a negative test result within 3 days of arrival. For a list of details and recommendations, and to follow updates to Florida’s guidelines, visit the official government website.
