Aidan Larkin is the co-founder and CEO of Asset Reality, the seized asset company. Operating at the intersection of GovTech and DefenseTech, Asset Reality has launched the world’s first end-to-end platform for seizing, managing, and deploying assets. The company’s unique experience extends to investigating, recovering, and managing billions of dollars worth of seized assets in some of the world's most high-profile asset recovery cases. An Associate Fellow at the defense & security think tank, RUSI, Aidan is also a lecturer and subject matter expert on seized assets for the UN Office on Drugs & Crime and multiple international organizations. A regular contributing author and commentator on the challenges of seizing assets, Aidan has also testified before the UK Parliament on the illicit use of crypto in terrorist financing & money laundering and the positive impact of digital assets in improving the underperforming Asset Recovery sector. Before founding Asset Reality, Aidan’s career in asset recovery began as a criminal investigator in the UK. Later, he managed seized asset portfolios for the UK Government, including overseeing some of the world's first sales of seized crypto via public auction.
