A crypto enthusiast since 2013, Ansgar joined Ethereum core research after finishing university in 2019. With a background in maths, economics, and computer science, he has been contributing to a diverse set of research topics. His past work has been on execution environments, account abstraction, state expiry, multi-dimensional fee markets, and EIP-4844. Currently, he is focused on future data availability sampling techniques, EVM standardization and improvements, and staking economics / Ethereum monetary policy.
