David Kalk is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Reflexive Capital, an alternative asset management firm focused on crypto. David oversees the "macro directional" liquid strategy where he leverages deep professional trading experience and macro expertise for macro regime identification, asset filtering, fundamental diligence, active management and proprietary risk management. Before starting Reflexive, David served as the Head of Macro and Digital Assets at Commonwealth Asset Management. Prior to that, David traded macro for eight years at Peter Thiel's family office, Thiel Macro, progressing to also serve as the CIO for the latter four years. He began his career as an Interest Rate Swap trader at Goldman Sachs and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
