Native Markets’ CEO and co-founder is Mary-Catherine Lader. Prior to co-founding Native Markets, Lader was President and COO of Uniswap, the world’s largest DeFi exchange. At Uniswap, MC led the company’s commercial strategy and operations, overseeing all non-engineering functions — finance, business development, people, marketing, customer support, legal, and public policy. During her tenure, Labs launched consumer and institutional products, raised $165 million, grew from 15 to 150 employees, and scaled to profitability. Uniswap Labs products are also now the most used applications in decentralized finance. She previously started digital assets at BlackRock and was Global COO of BlackRock Digital Wealth. Lader began her career as an investor in Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group during the financial crisis. She has spent the last 15 years building technology businesses aimed at making the financial system more accessible to people, at the world’s largest financial firms, as a startup executive, and as a startup founder. She serves on the board of Tech:NYC, the tech industry association for New York, and is a member of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Global Markets Advisory Committee. She earned J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Harvard and a B.A. from Brown University.
