Mike Higgins is the Global Head of Business Development at Hidden Road and also serves as Partner, Head of EMEA & UK. A highly articulate, motivated, and experienced director with nearly two decades of experience in financial markets, Mike possesses a deep understanding across the global digital assets space, equity index and commodity-based synthetic futures, exchange-based futures, spot FX, and precious metals markets. He has a strong emphasis on e-trading technologies, methodologies, and workflows. His expertise in e-commerce, APIs, GUI, price generation algorithms, risk management, and hedging strategies makes him invaluable as Hidden Road’s network continues to expand. Prior to joining Hidden Road, Mike was the co-founder and Managing Partner of Coronam EC, a London-based multi-asset algorithmic trading specialist that helped build and manage the distribution network for two major high-frequency trading firms across equity indices and foreign exchange. His previous roles include senior positions at FXCM, where he served as Director of Institutional FX Sales – EMEA and Vice President of Institutional Sales, supporting the firm’s FXCM Prime Brokerage and FastMatch (now Euronext FX) products. Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics from Fordham University in New York.
