Michael Rihani currently leads teams at Coinbase focused on non-trading products in the main retail platform, including Cash, Card, Payments, DeFi, and Staking. His career is grounded in delivering software and services to hundreds of millions of people around the world, with a focus on large-scale consumer experiences. Prior to Coinbase, he led product management at Cash App, launching Cash App Lightning Network, Square Bitcoin Conversions, and Block's BTC treasury program. Before that, he oversaw product and tech teams at Tesla and Apple Pay building consumer software and services. Rihani holds an undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, and a Master’s degree in computer science from Georgia Tech.
