Xiao-Xiao J. Zhu currently serves as an Operating Partner at KKR focused on tech & digital value
creation with the European private equity portfolio, and co-leads KKR’s Digital Assets & Blockchain
related strategy and efforts. Prior to that, he was General Manager at BCG Digital Ventures in
London and Beijing where he founded, launched and scaled new digital companies such as Heycar or
Tracr, and started his business career as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group
in London. In an earlier life, he performed as a professional concert pianist on concert venues
around the world, and played for the likes of George Bush Sr, Helmut Kohl or Mikhail Gorbachev.

He holds a MSc in Managerial Economics & Strategy from the London School of Economics, a BA in
Philosophy & Economics from the Humboldt University Berlin, and a Masters in Concert Piano from
the Berlin University of Arts.
