Bilal Hafeez is the Founder and CEO of Macro Hive – a leading independent research firm. Prior to Macro Hive, Bilal was Global Head of International Fixed Income Strategy at Nomura between 2016 and 2019. Before that Bilal held various senior roles at Deutsche Bank between 2002 and 2015 including Head of Multi-Asset Research, Advisor to the CEO, Head of Asia Research in Singapore and Global Head of Foreign Exchange Research. Bilal started his career at J.P. Morgan in 1998. During his sell-side career, Bilal was rated #1 market strategist by Euromoney and Institutional Investor for most years between 2004 and 2013. He also pioneered FX investment and smart beta benchmarks.  Academically, Bilal was an Honorary Visiting Professor of Finance at Cass Business School. He studied Economics at St Johns College, Cambridge. Bilal lives with wife, two children, seven cats, four chickens, a beehive and one dog.

Patrick Perret-Green has worked in financial markets for 35 years. He began his career in the fixed income and currency research department of Greenwell Montagu, worked as a fixed income flow trader for Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan, a research head for Mizuho, and a proprietary trader and Asia strategist for Citi. He was based in Asia between 2010 and 2016. Over the past six years he has focussed on providing a global macro research service that provides actionable trade ideas.

CUK partners with other industry bodies such as UK Finance, Innovate Finance, Electronic Money Association, Blockchain for Europe, Global Digital Asset Currency Association, Blockchain Association, Access, IDAXA, and AIMA to coordinate public policy positions impacting the industry globally. He is on the Advisory Board of IDAXA, and participates in numerous steering committees and industry working groups, including FATF. He is a frequent editorial contributor and speaker at industry events. Ian is also the Head of Digital and Crypto Assets at KPMG UK. Where he leads the cross firm offering to support clients operating within the crypto and blockchain space. Ian leads the organisation and its strategic policy initiatives to ensure the voice of the community is heard at the policymaker level. Ian is passionate about the UK fulfilling its global leadership potential in the blockchain and digital asset ecosystem. His work within regulatory and government affairs is focused on ensuring policymakers implement balanced policy making which fosters innovation, job creation and increases investment opportunities within the UK. Ian oversees the secretariat for the Crypto &amp; Digital Assets All Party Parliamentary Group, a cross-party group within Westminster that provides a forum for parliamentarians, regulators, government agencies and industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities relating to the crypto and digital asset sector. Ian possesses more than 20 years of experience in capital markets and fintech, with a depth of expertise within financial markets and disruptive technologies. Prior to joining CUK, Ian was the Advisory Board Secretariat for Global Digital Finance, a leading global members association focussed on best practice development to accelerate the adoption of global standards for digital assets. Previously, Ian led teams across investment banking functions, specialising in Rates, FX and Fixed Income markets, global treasury management, funding, capital allocation and liquidity management.

Dr Lisa Cameron is the MP for East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow and was first elected in 2015. Lisa is also the Chair of the newly created Crypto and Digital Assets All Party Parliamentary Group in Westminster.



Before entering politics, Lisa worked as a clinical psychologist and received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Glasgow.&nbsp;



Lisa has a keen interest in crypto and digital assets. She is particularly interested in the potential for this new technology to transform the landscape of emerging digital payments and financial services. Lisa has said that a top priority for her is consumer protection and she wants to see the sector and regulators making protecting consumers from the risks of harm a key focus. She is also interested in the opportunities that exist from the crypto and digital asset sector in terms of jobs, benefits to the economy and skills.



As a member of the Financial Education APPG in Parliament Lisa is also passionate about the importance of educating people and improving people’s understanding about crypto and digital assets.

Suzanne Morsfield is Lukka’s Global Head of Accounting Solutions. She brings more than 15 years of data-driven international corporate reporting and quantitative research experience to her role. She gained a wide-range of industry and practical experience while at JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, EY, Thomson Reuters and Capco that she subsequently used in her position as Director of Research at Columbia Business School’s Center for Excellence in Accounting and Security Analysis (CEASA). 



After CEASA, Suzanne joined the IFRS Foundation, where she led projects on improving financial reporting standards and served with distinction on committees for both the FASB and the IFRS Foundation. Subsequent to that role, she provided independent consulting to public and private companies, as well as to standard-setters and regulators. Her academic lecturing and research experience includes contributions to London School of Economics, New York University, and other US universities. She holds a PhD from the University of Arizona and has won numerous teaching and research awards.

Suzanne Morsfield

Ijeoma is an experienced executive and senior finance, securities and regulatory lawyer with extensive experience advising financial services firms and corporate clients globally. Ijeoma is also an expert on existing cryptocurrency regulation and public policy in the US and UK and the gaps that exist in the legal frameworks. She speaks regularly on digital assets at institutions and conferences in the US and Europe. She was part of the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s first ever Crypto Sprint where the regulator brought together experts to advise it on what its approach to crypto assets should look like in the future. Ijeoma is a digital assets investments adviser; a co-Founder and co-Director of the Digital Economy Institute, an independent digital assets think tank in London focused on US and UK crypto public policy; a member of the Board of the Museum of London; and a founding member and limited partner of Impact X Capital Partners, an ESG focused venture capital fund. She previously was an Executive Director and Digital Currency Risk Management Lead at JPMorgan focused on designing the firm’s global digital currency risk management and governance framework and advising on crypto related business proposals. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of Aldermanbury Investments Limited, a JPMorgan subsidiary. Since 2019, she has been a judge for the Power List of Britain’s Most Influential People of African, African Caribbean and African American heritage. She was listed on the 2020 FTSE Board Report’s 100 Women to Watch list, was named Investment Woman of the Year at the 2020 Woman in Investment Awards, won the Outstanding Contribution of the Year Award at the 2021 Women in Finance Awards, and was listed as one of Brummell Magazine’s 2022 Inspirational Women in the City and PitchBook’s 2022 Female Founders and Investors to Know. Ijeoma holds a B.A. and M.P.A. from New York University and a J.D. from Cornell University.

Previously, as Head of Global Authorisations at Revolut, Andrew built the Global Authorisations Department responsible for all regulatory applications from initial licence scoping through to becoming authorised and operational entities. Andrew started his career in financial services consulting at Accenture and PA Consulting before moving to the FCA to specialise in regulation, financial crime and supervision. At the FCA he was a Lead Supervisor for one of the UK’s largest wholesale banks as well as working closely with Markets Supervision. Moving into FinTech regulation, he worked with the FCA’s Innovation Hub to encourage and support ground-breaking financial products and services within the UK and abroad.



He holds a Master of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.

Melvin Deng is the Chief Executive Officer of QCP, one of the first digital asset trading firms in Singapore and global market maker in digital asset derivatives. As the CEO, Melvin leads the company’s rapid growth and expansion towards its vision to partner the next generation of investors to unlock institutional opportunities in digital assets. Under his leadership, he has built the company’s institutional-grade experience, research and infrastructure into a compelling proposition for clients, in addition to overseeing all operations and risk management. Laura Vidiella

Translating Market Intelligence into Alpha 

James joined AIMA in May 2019 as Director of Asset Management Regulation. Prior to joining AIMA, he worked at a leading Brussels-based consultancy, offering strategic communications support to predominantly financial services clients before returning to the UK at the end of 2013, to join the Government Relations team at U.S. insurer MetLife. During his time at MetLife, he led on public policy and advocacy programmes across the EMEA region. He retains deep knowledge of EU and UK political and regulatory systems as well as a detailed understanding of financial regulation. He previously worked at the Industry &amp; Parliament Trust, an organisation that works to promote the mutual understanding of Parliament and business and he holds a degree in Law (LLB Hons) from the College of Law. At AIMA, he co-leads their work on digital assets which is overseen by AIMA’s Digital Assets Working Group (AIMA DAWG).

James Delaney

Mike Castiglione joined Eventus as Director of Regulatory Affairs, Digital Assets in February 2022 where he focuses on preparing clients for the range of global rules that could affect crypto and their compliance systems. He joined Eventus after 15 years in the US government focused on national security and emerging technology policy, including with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). During that time, he advised the White House, Defense Department, others in government about global risks, the implications of technological advancements, and policy options. He has led teams specializing in data analytics and over-the-horizon forecasts during foreign crises. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) from Princeton.

Delphine Forma is an experienced Chief Compliance Officer who worked across different countries and industries including large banks in the U.K. such as Bank of Tokyo – Mitsubishi UFJ and HSBC Bank plc., and global blockchain/crypto businesses (exchanges and miners) in Switzerland. She holds a diploma from Sciences Po Lyon, and two master’s degrees specialized in European Criminal Business Law and Frauds and Money Laundering Prevention. Delphine is a Senior Compliance Manager at BitMEX and a Board member of the OpenVASP Association (a non-profit association formed to develop a protocol and standards to allow virtual assets providers and others to comply with the Financial Action Task Force's "travel rule" requiring identifying information for parties involved in transfer of Digital Assets) and has served has a Board Member of the Crypto Valley Association. Delphine sees compliance as a way to help and support the business to grow and expand. She is passionate about crypto and all blockchain things.

Delphine Forma

Mark joined Elliptic’s Global Policy and Research Group, as Senior Policy Advisor, EMEA, early this year. Before that, he worked at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), as a Technical Specialist in the Capital Markets Policy Dept. Mark has primarily worked in regulatory policy areas, both retail and capital markets but also worked in the FCA’s Financial Crime Advisory Team, where he was responsible for delivering the UK’s cryptoasset amendments to the anti-money laundering regulations (MLRs), and then working with FCA Authorisation and Supervision to act as policy support and to provide internal training. Before leaving the FCA, he was engaged with HM Treasury and the Bank of England on the financial markets infrastructure (FMI) cryptoassets sandbox. He has also been seconded to the FCO and HM Treasury, spending time in Brussels as financial attaché in the UK’s Representation to the EU, negotiating a variety of dossiers, including payment services, e-money and UCITs legislation, and at HM Treasury negotiating AIFMD and developing EU-exit financial services policy. Mark is keen to work with Elliptic clients to help them better understand their regulatory obligations and expectations, particularly at this time of significant regulatory development.

Samantha oversees DCG's post-investment engine. Her team is responsible for tracking the performance of DCG’s more than 200 startup and token project investments, offering strategic and operational advisory to those companies and their executives, and forging partnerships on the DCG network’s behalf. Samantha started her career at Orbis Investments, the global asset manager, where she conducted fund analysis, with a focus on emerging market equities, and, eventually, led global growth initiatives around the launch of a first-of-its kind retail investment platform. Prior to joining DCG, Samantha ran business development efforts at Elder, the London-based health tech company, overseeing public sector procurement and private sector partnerships. Samantha graduated from Georgetown University (BA) and London School of Economics (Masters).

Chuck Mounts is the Chief DeFi Officer in S&amp;P Global Ratings and leading the newly formed DeFi strategy team. In this role Chuck will help advance S&amp;P Global Ratings' approach and capabilities in the fast-moving decentralized market environment. The team will focus on bringing S&amp;P Global's robust analytic and risk assessment capabilities forth to support both traditional institutional (TradFi) clients and the growing universe of crypto-native DeFi clients. With 30 years of experience in global financial markets, Chuck has led global businesses comprised of research teams, strategists, and product specialists that integrate market knowledge, product expertise and analytic capabilities across asset classes. Chuck began his career as a bank regulator at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and spent the majority of the following two decades as a global credit analyst and a manager of research teams, including stints at Goldman Sachs and UBS, where he was the Global Head of Fixed Income, Currency and Commodity Research for UBS investment bank. He has served as the Chairman of the Bond Market Association’s Committee on Research Conflicts and has been recognized by global institutional investors for his understanding and insights in global financial markets. During his career Charles has presented at numerous conferences, has been cited in international publications and has appeared in the media. Chuck holds B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and a master’s in public policy from Harvard University.

Lucas Vogelsang is the CEO and Co-founder at Centrifuge, focusing on bringing Real World Assets to DeFi since the early days of Ethereum. Before diving into crypto in 2017 Lucas has been working at the intersection of tech and business since dropping out of University. He co-founded the Swiss e-commerce startup DeinDeal as its CTO. After its successful sale, he helped the German startup KaufDA with their international expansion. Lucas spent 6 years in Silicon Valley where he was working at early stage startups including Taulia where he met his Centrifuge co-founders.

Morgan’s businesses and clients, and for engaging with the industry at large in order to provide a holistic blockchain strategy for the firm. Tyrone was previously a Senior Blockchain Product Manager in J.P. Morgan’s Blockchain Center of Excellence and was also the Head of Product for Quorum, an open-sourced Ethereum-based blockchain platform built for Enterprise use. Jason Guthrie is Head of Digital Assets for WisdomTree in Europe. Guthrie oversees WisdomTree’s digital assets efforts which include bringing new products to market, identifying opportunities to enhance existing products, driving distributions strategies, and leading on client education and engagement on cryptocurrencies. He is responsible for efforts beyond the traditional product set and is actively pushing the digital asset agenda by pursuing alternative and strategic projects. Previously Guthrie was head of Capital Markets for WisdomTree in Europe for 4 years, where his team was responsible for ensuring clients had a smooth trade execution experience. Martha is a veteran emerging markets specialist, with two decades of experience in capital markets, including sales and distribution and portfolio management, with a strong emphasis on equities research and macro analysis. Martha studied International Finance at Columbia University and has an undergraduate degree in International Relations, with a focus on trade and economics, She sees digital assets as the new frontier in investing, and is particularly interested in the potential for blockchain&nbsp;technology in developing nations.

Michael Hall is the Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Nickel Digital Asset Management Ltd. From 2016 to 2019 Mr Hall worked with a Swiss-based wealth manager to advise on macro and digital asset arbitrage portfolios, including, from July 2018, managing a digital asset arbitrage strategy for the founder of one of London’s largest hedge funds. From 2011 to 2015 Mr Hall pursued entrepreneurial projects in the financial industry including macro and fixed income hedge fund and fund of funds advisory and automated market-making and trading strategies. From July 2005 to November 2010 Mr Hall set up and managed the Texel Macro fund, a liquid fund trading a relative value arbitrage strategy, which generated returns of over 20% in 2008. From December 2002 until February 2005, Mr Hall was a senior trader at a large Spanish Macro Fund, trading a US$200 million allocation of its Relative Value Fund. From November 1999 to December 2002 Mr Hall was co-founder and President of Metapack, a java software company whose clients include Boots plc, John Lewis and other large UK retailers. In 2018 MetaPack was sold for £175 million. From 1992 to 1999 Mr Hall worked as a trader in the Fixed Income Arbitrage group of Bankers Trust New York (Bankers Trust was taken over by Deutsche Bank in 1999). He ran a proprietary trading book focusing on relative value opportunities in the G10 countries producing average annual returns of over 18 percent. He also managed risk for multi-billion dollar mortgage, asset-backed and municipal bond portfolios. Mr Hall received a degree in Electronic Engineering (1st class) from the University of Manchester (UK) in 1986 and an MBA in Finance from Wharton Business School.

Guillaume Chatain is the Head of Institutional Sales EMEA at Coinbase. Prior to joining Coinbase he was the Founder and CEO at ResonanceX, a VC backed digital broker-dealer having launched the first Structured Product to clear, settle and receive custody on a public blockchain. Guillaume also spent a decade in traditional finance, as a Managing Director for J.P. Morgan Private Bank where he advised UHNW clients on large derivatives and financing transactions, and oversaw client solutions and product development for all types of equity and derivatives investments distributed in the Asia-Pacific region.

Michael Anderson is the co-founder of<a href="https://framework.ventures/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Framework Ventures,</a> one of the largest VC firms in the blockchain industry. Under the leadership of Michael and his co-founder Vance, Framework was arguably the first VC firm to <a href="https://decrypt.co/16943/why-framework-ventures-is-going-all-in-on-defi" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">“go all in”</a> on the emerging Decentralized Finance (“DeFi”) ecosystem, notching up major early investments in several multi-billion dollar apps and networks like Chainlink, Aave, Synthetix, The Graph, and more. Over the last year, the firm has raised $400M for its third fund, and has also expanded into additional maturing verticals like web3 gaming, real world assets, and social crypto. Paul takes an active research approach to product development and is currently in the later stages of a business based PhD exploring crypto networks and social capital. Previously, Paul has been a teacher and lecturer alongside supporting tech incubators and outreach projects where he resides in South-West England.

Will Harvey is responsible for global institutional sales coverage, which includes establishing new markets and relationships to increase adoption of the Bullish exchange. Will joined the institutional sales team at Bullish in Hong Kong in April 2021 prior to the launch of the exchange. Before joining Bullish, Will spent six years at CME Group in London and Hong Kong as a member of the client development and sales team. Stefan is a contributor and senior advisor to the Bancor Protocol, advising on economics, finance and product development. He is also serving as CEO of IDCAP, University of Nicosia's Crypto Asset Certification initiative.



Stefan has over 20 years of experience in the financial markets. He started out as a quant, in charge of forex and equity derivatives at Paribas. After his MBA at INSEAD he joined McKinsey &amp; Co in the Corporate Finance practice in London. He then moved to J.P. Morgan to the bank advisory team, with a focus on securitisation and risk. After leaving J.P. Morgan, Stefan was a founder, advisor and executive in the startup world. Stefan is the author of "A Guide to Financial Regulation for Fintech Entrepreneurs", published by Wiley, and co-editor and co-autor of PRMIA's Risk Management handbook.

She has dedicated her career to making innovating safe again and assisting organizations to align with different security/technical frameworks as well as leading incident response for data breaches. She currently leads the Research &amp; Development team at Blockdaemon, a blockchain infrastructure company, where she focuses on Maximal Extractable Value(MEV), interoperability, and blockchain security. She also teaches at the cybersecurity certificate programs for the University of Miami and New York University. As a Latina, she is passionate about fostering the next generation of workers and serves as a member and mentor to several women in cybersecurity, tech, and Web3 professional organizations.

Mriganka Pattnaik is the CEO and co-founder of Merkle Science, leading the overall vision and strategic direction, fundraising, and sales of the company. Mriganka previously led growth and business expansion in Southeast Asia and India for London-based retail cryptocurrency exchange Luno prior to its acquisition by blockchain investment firm Digital Currency Group. During his tenure at Luno, Mriganka supported strategy and country-specific execution across three continents, giving him first-hand knowledge of the compliance challenges faced by digital asset businesses in diverse jurisdictions and the critical role regulations play in the industry’s health and sustainable growth.&nbsp;



Before Luno, Mriganka was part of the global investment banking team at Bank of America for the Technology, Media, and Telecom sectors. Mriganka holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.

Tom advises Elliptic's customers, regulators, and governments on cryptocurrency market developments and blockchain forensics to detect and prevent financial crime in the cryptoassets. He holds a doctorate in Physics from the University of Oxford.

Katey Neate is the Chief Risk Officer for Securities Services &amp; Digital at BNY Mellon. Based in London, Katey is responsible for second-line oversight of all risk management across the business. Katey has been directly responsible for the risk management oversight of all digital asset products at the firm since the formation of the Digital Assets Unit in February 2021, drawing on her extensive and diverse experience in the financial services industry. Katey joined BNY Mellon in 2003 and has served in a variety of senior management roles within the Operations and Risk organizations. Prior to her current role, Katey served as the Chief Risk Officer of Asset Servicing &amp; Digital and the Risk Officer of BNY Mellon UK Legal Entities. As a leader in Risk Management and Digital Assets, Katey is engaged in driving diversity, equity and inclusion in the Digital Assets space. She is actively involved in advising leadership of digital asset startups on business and risk management strategy, which includes representing BNY Mellon on the board of Coin Metrics.
