He has almost two decades of experience building high-performance operating systems, including leading OS development at Qualcomm and holding engineering roles at Dropbox and Mesosphere. Yakovenko has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Mary-Catherine (MC) Lader is the Chief Operating Officer of Uniswap Labs, a developer of foundational web3-based products and applications. In this role, she oversees the company’s growth efforts, strategic initiatives, and operations. Previously, she held various leadership roles at BlackRock, including as the Global Head of the firm’s digital sustainability business, Chief Operating Officer of the firm’s digital wealth business, and leader of the firm’s strategic fintech investments and blockchain activities. MC began her career as an investor in Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group. She received her J.D. and M.B.A. degrees at Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School, respectively, and her B.A. at Brown University.

Congressman Tom Emmer was sworn in for his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives on January 6, 2015. He is currently serving his fifth term.



After serving as the Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee for the 116th Congress and again for the 117th Congress, Tom was elected by his fellow Republican colleagues to be the House Majority Whip. Currently, he sits on the House Financial Services Committee.&nbsp;



Born in 1961, Tom grew up in Minnesota and attended St. Thomas Academy. He received his BA in Political Science from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and his JD from William Mitchell College of Law.



After practicing law for several years, he opened his own law firm. The next 20 years were spent balancing family, business, coaching hockey, and serving on the city councils in Independence and Delano.



Before coming to Congress, he served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2004-2008.



He and his wife Jacquie have been married for over 30 years and have seven children. They reside in Delano.

Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN)

Raj Gokal is the co-founder of Solana and president of Solana Labs. He also serves on the board of the Solana Foundation. He was previously focused on startups in behavioral health. He was Director of Product at Omada Health; EIR at Rock Health; Co-Founder of Sano, building consumer glucose sensors; and an investor at General Catalyst Partners. He started his career in hedge funds at companies like Meridian Capital Partners. Raj studied Finance at the Wharton School of UPenn.

Hester M. Peirce was appointed by President Donald J. Trump to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and was sworn in on January 11, 2018.



Prior to joining the SEC, Commissioner Peirce conducted research on the regulation of financial markets at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. She was a Senior Counsel on the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, where she advised Ranking Member Richard Shelby and other members of the Committee on securities issues. Commissioner Peirce served as counsel to SEC Commissioner Paul S. Atkins. She also worked as a Staff Attorney in the SEC’s Division of Investment Management. Commissioner Peirce was an associate at Wilmer, Cutler &amp; Pickering (now WilmerHale) and clerked for Judge Roger Andewelt on the Court of Federal Claims.



Commissioner Peirce earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Case Western Reserve University and her JD from Yale Law School.

Hong is the President of OKX, a leading Web3 technology company and the world's second largest crypto exchange by trading volume.



Prior to joining the Web3 industry in 2019, Hong worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs for eight years and later participated in growth equity investments. She had her first exposure to Bitcoin in 2016 and has since become a strong advocate of Bitcoin and building a trustless financial and social network.

Jesse Pollak is the creator of Base and is the Head of Protocols at Coinbase, where he works on Ethereum L1, L2, and new onchain efforts. Prior to Base, Jesse led all of Coinbase’s consumer-facing engineering from early 2017 to middle 2021, including building Coinbase, Coinbase Pro, and Coinbase Wallet. Jesse joined Coinbase through the acquisition of Clef, a company he founded and ran for five years that built passwordless identity solutions for crypto companies.

Stani Kulechov is a thought leader in blockchain technology, smart contracts, decentralized finance and web3 social. From an early age, he became fascinated with using technology as a tool to solve problems, empower people, increase access and enable stronger human connection.&nbsp;



Stani is a pioneer in decentralized finance. While still in college, he created one of the first decentralized, peer-to-peer protocols on Ethereum. He then went on to found Aave Companies, a technology company that develops decentralized protocols, developer tools and consumer applications powered by blockchain, smart contracts and token-based economies.&nbsp;



The Company is best known for creating the Aave Protocol – one of the largest and most popular, fully decentralized liquidity markets in the world. Stani Kulechov

Shaun Musuka serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Steakhouse Financial, which provides a range of services to DAOs. Shaun is also a member of the Strategic Finance Core Unit at MakerDAO, where he actively contributes to the management of MakerDAO’s real world assets program. Previously, Shaun served as Head of Research at African Crypto Research and specialized in capital markets and crypto at Latham &amp; Watkins.

Haider Rafique is the Global Chief Marketing Officer at OKX, one of the largest global crypto exchanges by trading volume. He oversees the company’s growth and brand strategy as OKX enters a new phase of hyper growth in user registration and trading volume. Haider previously served at the US exchange Okcoin as Chief Marketing Officer. He rebranded the company in 2021 and it recorded a growth of retail user sign-ups by 20x year-on-year, onboarding more than a million customers to the platform. Haider is a seasoned growth and marketing leader at global crypto firms, previously serving as head of growth at <a href="http://blockchain.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">blockchain.com</a> and as a growth adviser to several web3 firms and startups. He is one of the few in the industry with experience from traditional Madison Avenue ad firms and multinational tech giants like Microsoft.

Haider Rafique

Christine is a Partner and Head of Digital Asset Strategy at Apollo Global Management, Inc. In this newly created position, Christine leads digital asset strategy across the firm, exploring more ways to apply blockchain technologies to Apollo’s business. She also plays a key role in Apollo’s strategy to invest in some of the most innovative digital asset companies and founders, with a specific focus on those transforming the financial services sector where Apollo can serve as a validator and enabler of new technologies. Previously, she was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan and led its Blockchain/Crypto/Metaverse program through initiatives in digital assets, tokenized payments, internet of-things, decentralized identity, NFTs, and virtual worlds. She is a graduate of Brown University. Christine was named in Fortune’s The Ledger 40 Under 40 list of “the most impressive, young superstars transforming business at the leading edge of finance and technology.”

Christine Moy

After finishing his PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge, Dankrad Feist worked in Technology since 2013 and co-founded the e-health startup Cara Care in 2016. After more casual contacts with crypto since 2013 he joined the Ethereum Foundation full time in 2019 as a Core Researcher. He has made contributions to Ethereum statelessness, sharding, and especially data availability, with the development of an MPC-friendly proof of custody protocol as well as the new sharding construction "Danksharding" bearing his name.

Dankrad Feist

Mark Yusko is the Founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Morgan Creek Capital Management. He is also the Managing Partner of Morgan Creek Digital. Morgan Creek Capital Management was founded in 2004 and currently manages close to $2 billion in discretionary and non-discretionary assets. Prior to founding Morgan Creek, Mr. Yusko was CIO and Founder of UNC Management Company (UNCMC), the Endowment investment office for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before that, he was Senior Investment Director for the University of Notre Dame Investment Office. Mr. Yusko has been at the forefront of institutional investing throughout his career. An early investor in alternative asset classes at Notre Dame, he brought the Endowment Model of investing to UNC, which contributed to significant performance gains for the Endowment. The Endowment Model is the cornerstone philosophy of Morgan Creek, as is the mandate to Invest in Innovation. Mr. Yusko is again at the forefront of institutional investing through Morgan Creek Digital Assets, which was formed in 2018. Morgan Creek Digital is an early stage investor in blockchain technology, digital currency and digital assets. Mr. Yusko received a BA with Honors from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chicago.

Robert&nbsp;Leshner&nbsp;is the CEO and Co-founder of Superstate, an asset management firm modernizing investing through tokenized financial products. Prior to founding Superstate,&nbsp;Leshner&nbsp;co-founded Compound Labs in 2017, which developed one of the first DeFi applications.&nbsp;Robert is a venture investor at Robot Ventures and co-hosts&nbsp;The Chopping Block,&nbsp;a crypto-native podcast. He is directly responsible for designing smart contracts such as Governor Bravo and the ERC-7246 token standard, Encumber.&nbsp;



 He has a degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Additionally,&nbsp;Robert is the former chair of the San Francisco Revenue Bond Oversight Committee and a CFA charter holder.

Robert Leshner

Trevor McFedries is the founder of Friends With Benefits, Web3’s premier Social DAO, as well as the Founder and former CEO of Dapper Collectives, an organization dedicated to decentralizing media and social via DAOs. McFedries is the creator of virtual pop star Lil Miquela and founded technology startup Brud, which was acquired by Dapper Labs. Since its inception in 2017, Brud has raised funds from Sequoia Capital, Spark Capital, and SV Angel amongst others. Friends With Benefits pioneered social tokens and counts Andreesen Horowitz, Spark, Pace Capital, and Kindred Ventures as investors.



Before creating Brud and FWB, Trevor was known professionally as Yung Skeeter and worked as a DJ, producer, and director for acts including Ke$ha, Azealia Banks, and Katy Perry. McFedries has performed at music festivals Lollapalooza and Coachella, served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Bad Robot, and was an early employee at Spotify. He currently serves on the board at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and Rhizome (New Museum, NYC).

Santiago Roel Santos (CryptoPunk #9159) is an investor focusing at the intersection of DeFi and the Web3 metaverse (NFTs/gaming). Most recently was a Partner at ParaFi Capital, one of the largest crypto funds specializing in DeFi. Prior to that, he was at Sageview Capital investing in Internet and software and, before that, at JP Morgan investment banking. Santiago began investing in crypto in 2012.

Santiago Roel Santos

Jason leads OKX's innovation efforts, and is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing new products and services, and exploring new markets in the rapidly-evolving crypto industry. Prior to joining the Web3 industry in 2016, Jason worked at Barclays Capital and cfX Incorporated. He holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Jason Lau

Michael Anderson is the co-founder of<a href="https://framework.ventures/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Framework Ventures,</a> one of the largest VC firms in the blockchain industry. Under the leadership of Michael and his co-founder Vance, Framework was arguably the first VC firm to <a href="https://decrypt.co/16943/why-framework-ventures-is-going-all-in-on-defi" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">“go all in”</a> on the emerging Decentralized Finance (“DeFi”) ecosystem, notching up major early investments in several multi-billion dollar apps and networks like Chainlink, Aave, Synthetix, The Graph, and more. Sandy Peng is one of the co-founders of Scroll. Scroll is a community-first native zkEVM Layer 2 solution, and an open source project working at the forefront of zero-knowledge research. She has rich experience in research, business development, and project strategy. Having worked as both a startup founder and blockchain investor, she has unique insights into the development, compliance, and application of blockchain technology and open source technology.

Sandy Peng

Kyle Samani is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Multicoin Capital, a thesis-driven cryptofund that invests in tokens and companies reshaping entire sectors of the global economy. Prior to Multicoin Capital, he co-founded Pristine (Upskill, 2017), an enterprise software company that enables deskless workers with solutions for smart glasses. Based in Austin, Texas, Samani is widely recognized as a thought leader on blockchain and cryptoeconomics. Colleen Sullivan is Co-Head of Ventures at Brevan Howard Digital. Prior to joining Brevan Howard Digital, Colleen co-founded and served as CEO of CMT Digital, where she was also a partner with the broader CMT Group and commenced activities in the crypto industry in 2013. Prior to starting CMT Digital, Colleen co-founded Sullivan Wolf Kailus, a boutique law firm that specializes in hedge fund, private equity, venture capital, digital assets, and other alternative investment products. Colleen also previously practiced law in the Investment Funds and Derivatives group at Sidley Austin LLP and, at age 25, co-founded a company called iOptions Group LLC, which developed hedging and monetization strategies for holders of employee stock options. Colleen Sullivan

Tarun is an alumni of D. E. Shaw Research (DESRES), Vatic Labs, an HFT firm, and Cornell. He fell into the blockchain world in 2011, when he was working on ASICs at DESRES and observed Bitcoin ASIC mining rigs substantially delay DESRES’s ASIC production. He has spent the last seven years working on simulation-based R&amp;D at the intersection of high-performance computing and AI and is applying this knowledge to the blockchain ecosystem.

Tarun Chitra

Sunny Aggarwal is the Co-Founder of Osmosis, the core team responsible for developing Osmosis, an appchain that serves as the DeFi hub for the Cosmos ecosystem. Sunny dropped out of UC Berkeley to join Tendermint, where he served as a Core Developer of the Cosmos SDK and Gaia blockchain, and contributed to the development and launch of Cosmos and IBC. Sunny then decided to build on top of the core infrastructure he had developed at Tendermint, and co-founded Osmosis with the goal of developing a DEX appchain that rivals even the most robust centralized exchanges.

A crypto enthusiast since 2013, Ansgar joined Ethereum core research after finishing university in 2019. With a background in maths, economics, and computer science, he has been contributing to a diverse set of research topics. His past work has been on execution environments, account abstraction, state expiry, multi-dimensional fee markets, and EIP-4844. Currently, he is focused on future data availability sampling techniques, EVM standardization and improvements, and staking economics / Ethereum monetary policy.

Ansgar Dietrichs

Guy Hirsch is the Global Managing Director at Kraken digital asset exchange. Prior to joining Kraken, Guy spent 5 years at eToro, a global investment platform with more than $10B in crypto and traditional assets under management. Guy led eToro’s expansion into the US market, serving as US Managing Director, and then promoted to lead eToro’s expansion into Web3 as Managing Director of eToro Art. Guy also served as the Director of Innovation Strategy at Samsung, where he led the company's efforts to develop and implement new technologies and business models. Guy founded two VC-backed startups, one was acquired by a private equity firm, and holds a dual Law and business degrees from Reichman University.

Kevin Owocki is a blockchain expert, computer scientist, co-founder of <a href="https://gitcoin.co/">Gitcoin</a> and podcast host at <a href="http://greenpill.network/">Greenpill.network</a>, a network-society of thousands of hackers, dreamers, and doers focused on using crypto to bring positive digital systems to the world. After completing his BS in Computer Science, Kevin spent 15 years in the world of web2, working in engineering leadership serving as a CTO and founder for open source software and web startups. Vance Spencer

Ron represents the association on Capitol Hill as Director of Government Relations. Ron’s background in crafting a bipartisan crypto regulatory framework via legislation dates back to 2016 when he served as the Financial Services Policy Lead for Rep. Warren Davidson (OH-8). During Ron’s five years on Capitol Hill, he authored several pieces of legislation including the Token Taxonomy Act, Federal Reserve Regulatory Oversight Act, and the Derivatives Fairness Act. Before coming to Capitol Hill, he was the campaign manager for three successful Texas State Senate races. Ron received his B.A. from Georgetown University.

Ron Hammond

Rich Widmann is the Global Head of Strategy for Web3 at Google Cloud and a founding member of Google’s Web3 business. Since the launch of Google Cloud’s Web3 efforts, the team has launched a robust suite of developer products and tools leveraged by Web3 developers across a number of the largest protocols in the ecosystem. In addition, Rich has led several Alphabet-wide initiatives aimed at broadening Google’s exposure to Web3, including efforts which enabled Google to custody cryptocurrency.&nbsp; More recently, he led the effort to execute the first-ever stablecoin payment for services at Google.



Prior to Google, Rich was a litigator and member of the firm’s regulatory and white-collar investigations team, where he helped investigate and recover millions of dollars stolen in connection with the FIFA World Cup bribery schemes. Rich’s experience in handling federal regulatory investigations led him to the world of cryptocurrency, where he began representing founders in the Ethereum ecosystem in high-stakes regulatory engagements and litigation.



Rich has held director-level roles at two regulated institutions, including a cryptocurrency custodian and a nationally chartered bank. Rich is an adjunct professor at Northwestern Pritzker University School of Law where he teaches a JD/MBA course on cryptocurrency technology and regulations.&nbsp;



&nbsp;Richard holds a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law, a Master's from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in History from the College of New Jersey. Before he practiced law, he was a middle school English teacher in Philadelphia with Teach for America.

Rich Widmann

Vy is a Partner&nbsp;and Head of Regulatory &amp; Policy at Bain Capital Crypto, where she advises an infrastructure-focused portfolio of projects and leads regulatory diligence and policy efforts. At the SEC, she served as Senior Counsel in the Division of Enforcement and Chief Counsel of the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs. Prior to that, Vy oversaw financial regulatory strategy as Deputy General Counsel and Compliance Officer at Worldcoin. She began her legal career at the law at the firm WilmerHale.

Tara is a growth-oriented leader who believes blockchain technology will fundamentally alter the way the world works and what is possible. As Cofounder &amp; CEO of Co:Create, she helps innovative brands unlock the power of their community with gamified, self-owned loyalty and reward programs. She began her crypto journey as Chief Revenue Officer of Alto, a leading cryptoIRA and digital asset IRA custodian. There she established partnerships with institutional crypto asset managers and grew company revenue by 25X in 18 months. She previously was Chief Commercial Officer at a consumer lending FinTech firm, where she led an advocacy campaign to change the tax treatment of employer-sponsored student loan repayment programs that was passed into law as part of the CARES Act. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the University of South Carolina.

Kevin Galler is the Developer Relations Engineer at Monad Labs. Previously, he was a Core Protocol Engineer at Solana Labs and spent 5 years as an Embedded Audio DSP Engineer at Apple, contributing to Apple and Beats headphone products. Kevin holds a Masters from Purdue University in Signal Processing and Computer Architecture. He specializes in optimized low-level systems and is keen on their application in the Blockchain realm.
