Alison Mangiero is the Acting Executive Director of the Proof of Stake Alliance (POSA), an industry alliance advocating for innovation-friendly regulation of the growing proof-of-stake industry. Alison previously founded Tocqueville Group (TQ), which worked with various ecosystem partners around the world to incubate new ventures and build products, open source software, and other public goods for the Tezos ecosystem. Prior to founding TQ she spent a decade in public policy, and has broad experience fundraising and growing membership associations.

A recovering political scientist now focused on the ways blockchain technology will drive social, political, and economic innovation, Alison also currently teaches courses on Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Public Policy at College of the Holy Cross and is on the Board of Advisors for the University of Richmond's Jepson School of Leadership Studies.
