Georgi Ivanov, CFA, is the VP of Strategy, Risk and Operations of the leading digital assets
institution Nexo. In this role, Georgi leads growth initiatives focused on blockchain solutions and
capabilities that capitalize on the synergistic touch points with traditional Consumer Finance and
Capital Markets products and services.
Georgi boasts 20+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Management and
Capital Markets, and has held leadership roles at various financial institutions and hedge funds,
including Wells Fargo and Bank of America. He received his MBA from Duke University and
holds two B.S.E. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Bioengineering from the University of
Pennsylvania.
