Johann Kerbrat is Chief Technology Officer of Robinhood Crypto. He oversees the crypto engineering team and leads technical strategy for the crypto business. Johann joined Robinhood to support the company in its mission to democratize finance for all and open up access to crypto to everyday investors. Prior to joining Robinhood, Johann held engineering roles at Airbnb, privacy-focused cryptocurrency startup Iron Fish, and founded an e-commerce platform company. Johann grew up in Nice, France and has an MSc in Software Engineering from Oxford Brookes University. He has been involved in crypto for more than a decade, mining his first bitcoin back in 2010 and buying a domain name for "far too many bitcoin" when bitcoin was just a few dollars.
