I spent 12 years as a macro portfolio manager at Brevan Howard managing up to $500m in assets and have a total of over 24 years of professional investing and trading experience. I started my career at Salomon Brothers in the early 1990s trading equity derivatives and after 11 years in a senior trading role as an MD, I left to join Brevan Howard where I eventually became a partner. I focused on macro fundamentals and managed investments in all asset classes from equities and credit to fixed income and fx. I now manage my own funds and write a daily macro note which is read by traders in most investment banks and large hedge funds.
