Katka Opocenska is a co-founder and CEO of Factor.fyi, an open and free finance data analytics platform. She became an active user of web3 protocols during DeFi summer, fascinated by the permissionless nature of the whole ecosystem, and by its potential to improve on the existing financial infrastructure. As a member of We3 from day 1, Katka led an education session on investment basics, and is passionate to help womxn get exposure to the new emerging asset class of crypto in a mindful and data-driven way.
Katka has an MBA from Stanford University and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Charles University in Prague. Prior to founding her own company, she worked as a Product Manager at Google and as a Business Analyst at McKinsey. She was born in the Czech Republic and now lives and builds in San Francisco.
