Luca leads MakerDAO’s Lending Oversight, focusing on making of MakerDAO the true lender of last resort of the DeFi ecosystem. This means building the bridge between real-world and DeFi, as well as developing any protocol-to-protocol use case. Luca publishes his own research on dirtroads.substack.com and is an advisor for Cherry Venture’s crypto investments. Prior to joining the DeFi revolution, he has been for 15 years a banker and investor in financial services companies. Luca holds an MBA (with hons) from London Business School, and a MSc and BA in mathematics and economics from Bocconi University.
