Rachel Mayer is VP of Product at Circle, responsible for overseeing product design and user research for the Circle Account, go-to-market and growth strategies teams. Since joining Circle in 2017, her leadership in launching a core suite of APIs and the Circle Account has been integral in furthering the company’s mission to raise global economic prosperity through the frictionless exchange of financial value.

Mayer joined Circle through its acquisition of Trigger Finance, a company she had co-founded. Prior to Trigger Finance, Mayer had extensive experience in digital currency and financial services, including as a trader at JP Morgan where she ran the FX e-commerce platform for emerging market currencies and rates. She is a recent honoree on the "40 Under 40" list from Fortune.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in computer science from Cornell University. Outside of work, Miami-based Mayer enjoys spending time with her two young children and adopted dog.
