Samuel Brooks is an expert in connecting next-gen technology with current-gen business problems, with particular specialisation in designing distributed ledger (DLT) solutions. Samuel is thought leader in blockchain and an active member of the blockchain community, including as a speaker at technology conferences, meetups and podcasts.

Prior to joining Bumper as CTO, leading research, design and development, Samuel held the role of CTO at Block8 where in 2017-2018 he authored the economic model behind Havven (subsequently pivoted into Synthetix) including protocol design, incentive mechanisms, white-papers, agent based models and the first production releases on Ethereum main-net.
