Stefan is a contributor and senior advisor to the Bancor Protocol, advising on economics, finance and product development. He is also serving as CEO of IDCAP, University of Nicosia's Crypto Asset Certification initiative.
Stefan has over 20 years of experience in the financial markets. He started out as a quant, in charge of forex and equity derivatives at Paribas. After his MBA at INSEAD he joined McKinsey & Co in the Corporate Finance practice in London. He then moved to J.P. Morgan to the bank advisory team, with a focus on securitisation and risk. After leaving J.P. Morgan, Stefan was a founder, advisor and executive in the startup world. Stefan is the author of "A Guide to Financial Regulation for Fintech Entrepreneurs", published by Wiley, and co-editor and co-autor of PRMIA's Risk Management handbook.
