Thomas Uhm is a part of Jane Street’s Global Crypto Institutional Sales & Trading team. In this role, Tom coordinates activity between the crypto asset trading desk and external parties. He focuses on issues related to strategy, infrastructure, education and execution for both crypto-focused and traditional financial firms
Tom joined Jane Street in 2003 trading ADRs before moving to the London office in 2006. During his tenure in the UK, he has continued to work with the equities team while also working with ETFs, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.
Tom holds a BS in Political Science from the University of Illinois. He grew up in Chicago and misses the food there terribly. He moved to New York to become an actor, before switching to his career in trading.
