Bitcoin: The First Post-Partisan Asset? A Conversation with "Progressive's Case for Bitcoin" Author Jason Maier

This week, President Biden ratcheted up the partisanship around Bitcoin when he tweeted that Republicans were trying to protect tax loopholes for wealthy crypto investors. Congressman Brad Sherman has been all over TV saying that the industry is just for tax evaders and criminals. Elizabeth Warren is making opposition to crypto a central pillar of her campaign.   Yet as much as the partisan bickering tries to capture Bitcoin, some progressive voices are pushing back. Jason Maier is the author of "A Progressive's Case for Bitcoin" and he's on a mission to help people understand how Bitcoin aligns with and can help achieve core goals of the left as well - including fairness, equality of opportunity and more.
