Bitcoin has recently set records for transactions. Fees are dramatically higher than they were a few months ago. Ordinals have ballooned to more than a million inscriptions per week. BRC-20 is a primitive token standard that uses ordinals to create a form of Bitcoin-native token. Just a couple months old, the market cap of BRC-20 tokens is over $400m and a great debate rages: is this Bitcoin builder innovation - or a new attack vector on the network?
