Erik Hersman is the CEO of Gridless, a bitcoin mining company that leverages bitcoin production to make mini grids and last mile energy production economically viable in Africa. The company has pilots in Kenya and Malawi and recently raised a seed round led by Block and Stillmark. In this episode, NLW and Erik talk about their shared social entrepreneurship background, how Erik and Gridless came to bitcoin, and how bitcoin transforms energy economics around the world.
