Richard is a former Engineering Director for Google who spearheaded the development of Google Fi, as well as the Co-founder and CEO of Leap.ai, which was acquired by Facebook. Before branching into Web3, Richard was the CTO of Earnin, a financial platform whose services allowed tens of millions of Americans to access wages before payday, avoid overdrafts, and start saving. At Earnin he met his Huma Finance co-founders, and realizing there was a gap in income-backed DeFi protocols, they developed Huma Finance, which provides infrastructure to enable crypto-forward Fintechs to access global capital by bringing their real world receivables on-chain.
