In the latest episode of Blockworks’ podcast “On the Margin,” Michael Ippolito, co-founder, Blockworks, sits down with Greg Foss of 3iQ to talk about the ultimate macro case for bitcoin.

Greg was the first high yield bond trader in Canada, and comes at bitcoin from a very math-oriented and macro perspective. He and Mike cover Greg’s time working as a trader, his framework for assessing the bond market, why the market for credit default swaps is so important, and why bitcoin is a critical tool for hedging against an uncertain future.

Greg Foss has 25 years of experience in pricing and trading corporate credit and credit related structures. Prior to joining 3iQ Greg was Senior Portfolio Manager at Fiera Quantum LP where he was co head of Credit Strategy for the Fiera Quantum Diversified Alpha Fund and the Canadian ABCP Fund

“On the Margin” is a two-part show. Once a week, Mike interviews industry experts, and then at the end of the week he is joined by co-host Tyler Neville where they break down the top crypto and macro stories. Episodes go live every Wednesday and Saturday morning.
