Network REV (Real Economic Value) is a standardized metric that tracks blockchain value accrual generated by user activity. REV consists of both in-protocol transaction fees and out-of-protocol tips that users pay for transaction execution, so it measures the monetary demand to transact onchain.

Revenue generated by applications deployed across multiple chains is attributed to the specific chain where it is earned. Different versions of applications are combined under the parent application. For example, Uniswap V2 and V3 are combined as Uniswap.

Application Revenue 

The 1, 7, 30, 90, and 1Y parameters are trailing lookback periods based on the current day. 

The percent change columns compare to the previous period of the same length. For example, the percent change 7D change will compare the trailing 7D values to the previous 7D period.

Blockchain Key Stats

Application Fees track the total amount users pay to interact with an application. This metric includes supply-side values that do not accrue to the application, such as Uniswap trading fees that accrue to liquidity providers, marking a key difference from Application Revenue.

Application Fees by Chain serves as a proxy for the amount of activity happening on a chain. Note, **this metric is unfiltered**, so it includes fees accrued by MEV infrastructure and liquid staking protocols. 

Data is sourced from Defillama and excludes Circle and Tether.
